In recent years, the destruction of the ozone layer has been progressing rapidly on a scale that defies comprehension, endangering the health of humankind and all living things.
In addition, this is not only the fault of chlorofluorocarbon. It is important to realize that another major factor is the rapid decrease of the world's supply of oxygen because of the abnormally large destruction of forests. That is to say, it is important to realize that because of the effects of this abnormally large amount of damage being done to the Earth's forests the oxygen which is supplied by the forests' photosynthesis cannot have reached as far as the ozone layer:
One reason why the ozone layer has suffered extensive damage is that the amount of oxygen on the Earth needed in order to form the ozone layer has been becoming substantially insufficient.
As is well known, ozone is the same element as oxygen. It is no mystery that oxygen travels to the stratosphere, a very dry portion of the atmosphere with very different temperatures and atmospheric pressures, and then changes to ozone when silent electric discharge occurs.
